Sumiko Rueger, MD is a pediatrician with Intermountain Health's Northern Utah Pediatrics at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. She supports patients in Ogden, North Ogden, South Ogden, Layton, and more with special interests in the management of asthma, ADHD, obesity, and dermatological conditions such as acne and eczema. She loves it when her patients teach her about topics, they are passionate about, whether that is dinosaurs or princesses. Dr. Rueger and her husband, a materials scientist, are both from the Midwest but love the access to the mountains that Utah provides. In her spare time, Dr. Rueger enjoys hiking, bird watching and observing animals in their habitat, reading, biking, kayaking, drawing and trying to learn how to cook.
